COVID-19 Travel News and Updates

It is recommended that all participants review the latest advice from the Korea Government with regards to COVID-19 travel restrictions.
* Depending on the situation of COVID-19, travel restrictions will be updated as changed *
*Participants currently are not required to get COVID 19 vaccinated. However, APAA2022 highly encourage, where possible.
Masking
: From September 26, Korea will no longer require masks for outdoor group activities. Other antivirus measures could be eased down the road. The indoor wearing mask mandate is still maintained.
Personal Hygiene Guidelines
: Registrants keep personnel distance each other, to observe cough etiquette, and wash hands frequently.
Duty to self-monitoring and to tell
: Registrants do self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 before and after conference (typically symptoms are fever, cough, sore throat, difficulty breathing, or feeling unwell) and let staffs know your typical condition. For better health and safety, they will not be allowed to participate in other events until negative result is verified. Participates can contact medical clinic for PCR test of onsite COVID-19 Rapid Testing anytime If they feel unwell.

The Busan Exhibition & Convention Center (BEXCO) has maintained safety and disinfection protocols. In addition, BEXCO is also following facility disinfection guidelines:
To sterilize convention Once a day
To ventilate convention twice a day
To place hand sanitizer stations
To train staffs personal hygiene and the quarantine guidelines frequently
For Overseas Entrants
From September 3, the requirement for a negative pre-departure COVID-19 test result before boarding a flight to South Korea is abolished.
From October 1, the requirement for a COVID-19 PCR testing for inbound travelers after their arrival in Korea is lifted.
Those who show virus symptoms within three days of their arrival may undergo a free PCR test at public health centers across the country.
